Upcoming event being hosted by a member of AITP-Richmond. Might be another great way to get your faced exposed and meet some potential opportunity creaters.
We will add this to our Agenda and try to get a group of us to attend. But just keep this date and time available, October 14th 5:30pm
Also if you really want to go but feel you might have some conflicts which will prevent you from attending, please let me or one of the AITP-VCU officers know so we can help. Thanks.

Virginia Commonwealth University is a large, complex and diverse organization with many (and often conflicting) objectives and activities. Providing technology services to support the various needs of students, faculty and staff is a challenging but exciting task. The University's technology portfolio covers the waterfront -- from the mundane to the bleeding edge.
This program will give you a glimpse into the types of technology that are in use at VCU -- how technology supports teaching and learning, the latest in high performance computing and networking, and how students use technology (if you're over 30, forget it). Plus, you will find out why technology at VCU is like Noah's Ark (hint: think twos).
Presenters:
Mark Willis
Chief Information Officer
Jeff Nugent
Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence
Mike Davis
Technology Manager, Center for the Study of Biological Complexity
Isac Crouch
Lead Technician, VCU G2G Mobile Program
